Did you watch the Wimbledon championship over the weekend? For the first time in decades Andy Murray a Brit made it to the finals. Makeshift outdoor cinemas were constructed to accommodate those not fortunate enough to have an indoor ticket to the event. Pubs across England, three deep at the bar hoisted pints of bitter, cheering every point won by Murray. It didn't matter if they played tennis or were tennis fans. What made the country go Murray crazy? It was because he is a Brit, a country man, one of them. It had nothing to do with government, it's all about the people supporting the person. This made me think of our country and what needs to happen to bring us together as a nation the way we were on September 12th 2001. Never in my life have I seen a more divided country. "We're not going to be red states or blue states, but the United States", REMEMBER who made that statement? As it turns out we are more divided than anytime in our country’s history except perhaps for the civil war. What's it going to take to put us as a nation back on track? I believe the answer is leadership. This November we have a choice, a choice to choose new leadership. There are two distinct visions from those running for president. 1. You can choose a future depending on the American people, the free market system, the entrepreneurial spirit and the Constitution that has governed this country for over 200 years or, 2. You can choose government, government impacting every part of your lives, cradle to grave entitlement programs, more spending with higher taxation. Those are the fundamental differences. Say whatever you want, it's all about less or more government. Before you make your final choice, may I remind you of the abuses suffered at the hands of the current administration, thanks to Monica Crowley; - a nearly trillion dollar economic stimulus that stimulated government but did nothing to excite the private economy. - long term unemployment of over 8%. - tax payer bailouts of hand picked, failing businesses and industries. - random TSA agents fondling us at the airports. - a president that bypasses congress by appointing unaccountable policy czars and issuing mandates through executive order. - telephone book size bills pushing through, urged, by the democratic leadership. - the government takeover of the best health care system in the world. - annual deficit over $1.3 trillion. - the national debt of $17 trillion. - our nation’s humiliation of having our credit downgraded for the first time in history. - the first lady spending tax payer money on lavish vacations around the world. These are just a few of the abuses we the people have suffered over the last 4 years. I will never believe or support that there should be shifted from the people toward government. If you believe as I do, we have but one more chance to reclaim our nation. The choice couldn't be clearer, we the people will continue to believe in liberty and the declaration of independence or become a nation under the current administration believing in the declaration of dependence! What's it going to be?

Raising the debt ceiling

In case you didn’t know, president obama has asked congress to raise the debt ceiling again. This time it’s only $1.3 trillion! By raising the debt ceiling that means the federal government has to borrow another $1.3 trillion dollars to pay our bills.

You may be asking yourself, who can we borrow that much money from? Donald Trump? George Soro’s? I know Warren Buffet? NOPE! We borrow from China and from ourselves. The Federal Reserve just keeps printing money. Sound good but, printing more money de-values our current dollar, making it more expensive to buy goods and services from around the world. Have you noticed the price of goods going up? Just go to the grocery store, you’ll see what I mean.

What I find alarming is, this president has increased our nations debt by over
$7 trillion dollars since he took office. In doing so, not once has he offered to cut spending of any kind.

What does that mean to you and me? Someone has to pay back the money our government is borrowing, and that someone is YOU! I know what you’re thinking, how on God’s green earth are we going to pay back over $17 trillion in debt?
The answer is simple, you’re not. YOUR CHILDREN ARE! AND THEIR CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN get it?

Here is where we come in. We need to understand the problem and DEMAND from our elected officials both democrat and republican to STOP THE INSANITY! We MUST pass a balance budget amendment. If we don’t, guess what, president obama will ask to raise the debt ceiling again and again and again!

Can you say BANKRUPT NATION?

I paid cash for my social security insurance!!!! Just because they borrowed the money, doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout !!

Congressional benefits, aka free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 87 paid holidays (almost 3 months), three weeks paid vacation , unlimited paid sick days, now that's welfare, and they have the nerve to call my retirement entitlements !!!!!!........

Tuesday's Daily Bulletin paper, ran two articles on the front page side by side :

1- Calif 's 39 Billion Dollar Budget Deficit
2- The Calif Supreme Court ruling that ILLEGALS can attend college and get benefits. Why don't they just deport them when they arrive to register?
3- Last year they ran an article on the yearly costs to Calif Taxpayers from Illegal’s using Hospital Emergency Rooms for their general health care.
At just one hospital the cost to tax payers totaled over 65 million a year

Someone please tell me what the HELL's wrong with all the people that run this country!!!!!!

In the last months we have provided aid to Egypt, Iraq, Haiti , Chile , Turkey, Japan, Lybia, Palastine and Pakistan .....home of bin Laden. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!
Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour

Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!
They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when its time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place?

We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans.
AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment -etc,etc.

YET.....................
They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti and Japan on 17 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.
Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.
Sad isn't it?

TODAY'S RANT

Today the democratic majority house of representatives is planning a vote on the Bush tax cuts. These spineless dweebs are going to vote to extend the Bush tax cuts to those making less than $250,000 annually.

What does this mean? Small business, the engine of economic growth will be hit with the largest tax increase in US history. We’re in the worst recession in decades and this congress is going to try to pass into law a bill that will “KILL” more jobs. What a F’ing joke! Let me remind you, today unemployment is 9.8%. Real unemployment is more like 16%.

These members of congress are the same guys that want to extend unemployment benefits for another 3 months, costing the tax payer another $12 BILLION. I agree, some of these family’s are in need. Unemployment is the only way they have of paying their bills. There are those that will not take a job because of the extension of unemployment benefits. Did you know unemployment is 99 WEEKS? Almost 2 YEARS!!!!

Here’s an idea, LOWER TAXES ON BUSINESS AND LET THEM PLAN GROWTH THAT WILL FORCE COMPANIES TO HIRE EMPLOYEE’S!

These same democratic members of congress are planning a vote on the “Dream Act”. You will love this! The Dream Act pays for college tuition for children up to 30 years of age for all illegal immigrants in this country. Ya, you read that correct. If you are a child of an illegal alien in this country. The democratic congress wants to give you FREE college tuition.

I can’t afford to pay for my three kids to go to college, but yet this congress is voting to give college tuition to illegals for FREE! Again, what an F’ing joke.

People, get involved! Watch what your elected officials are doing. At the end of the day, “we the people” are getting screwed big time. Call your congressman and senator and tell them to STOP THE INSANITY and QUIT SPENDING YOUR MONEY!

Yesterday leaders from both parties met to discuss what would happen if the Bush tax cuts are not extended. The long and short of it; it would be devastating to an already struggling economy.

Law makers need to do the work of the people and set politics aside. Quit thinking about re-election or what your party wants you to do. Think about the American people. After all, it was us that voted you into office to represent us, right?

If you earn $50,000 you can expect to pay an additional $2,900 in 2011.
If you earn $100,000 you can expect to pay an additional $4,500 in 2011.
If you earn $500,000 you can expect to pay an additional $10,000 in 2011.
If you earn $1,000,000 (wouldn’t that be nice) you can expect to pay an additional $50,000 in 2011.

The Democrats are having a tough time extending the Bush tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans. I have news for the Democrats; I never got a pay check from a poor person. The wealthy tax paying American’s are the job creators. Small business will lead us out of this recession, not the government.

If you want your elected officials to do the right thing, which is to extend the Bush tax cuts permanently. You have to call, e-mail, and write your senators and congressman. If they don’t hear from the tax payer, they think everything is OK!

PHOENIX – A shake-up in immigration policy may lead to deportation proceedings being dropped for thousands of aliens who entered the United States illegally but are applying to stay in the country, officials said on Friday.

They said the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) seeks to end deportation proceedings against detained illegal immigrants who have applications pending to become legal U.S. residents, if agents determine they have no criminal history and do not present a security threat.

The policy shift emerged from an internal memorandum ICE Assistant Secretary John Morton sent last week to the agency's principal legal adviser and a director of enforcement and removal operations.

The memo was published by the New York Times on Friday and confirmed to Reuters by officials.

Morton said the policy aimed to reduce the backlog in immigration courts, where authorities identified some 17,000 cases last year that could be eliminated if ICE dropped removal proceedings against illegal immigrants who had applied for legal status and were very likely to get it.

The issue of what to do with nearly 11 million illegal immigrants living and working in the shadows in the United States has become an increasingly hot topic in the run up to the midterm elections in November, where Democratic control of Congress is on the line.

President Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats back a comprehensive reform of immigration policy to tighten border security, while allowing illegal immigrants in good standing the chance to learn English, pay a fine and get on a path to citizenship.

Republicans say that policy is effectively "amnesty" and likely to encourage more illegal entrants.

The Obama administration has made a priority of arresting and deporting illegal immigrants convicted of crimes, more than 167,00 of whom have been removed so far this year.

ICE spokesman Richard Rocha said the policy shift outlined in the memorandum sought to enable the agency to prioritize "the arrest and removal of criminal aliens and those who pose a danger to national security."

"ICE is not engaged in a 'backdoor' amnesty and has placed more people in immigration proceedings this year than ever before," he added.

Americans are most concerned about a stuttering economy and high unemployment in the run up to the November 2 midterm elections, when voters will elect 435 members of the House of Representatives and fill 37 of the 100 seats in the Senate.

But illegal immigration has also been a contentious issue.

The Obama administration last month successfully sued to block key parts of a tough state law in Arizona requiring state and local police during the course of an arrest to investigate the immigration status of people they suspected were in the state illegally.

The measure, which sought to curb illegal immigration and smuggling-related crime in the state bordering Mexico, was backed by a solid majority of voters both in Arizona and across the United States.

But it came under heavy fire from civil rights and Latino groups concerned that in practice it would lead to profiling, and in court the administration said it intruded on what should be a matter of federal policy.

Pelosi has lost her mind!

The LA Times article below does not surprise me….but here’s another fact on CA: The pensions for retired and early-retiree State workers is draining the system. CA recently offered early retirement packages to state workers (55 yrs) in an attempt to cut their massive deficit; the only problem is: in CA to cover their pension payment liabilities, it will now require 80% of state income taxes to go toward funding these pensions. Now really, it doesn’t take a PhD in Economics to realize this can’t continue. There are not enough working tax payers to support these entitlements and still run the State.



Hey, but it’s CA, Right….however, it’s coming to a lot more of our States because of the incompetent, spend, spend, spend politicians this country elects.

Just wait until amnesty is granted by ‘executive order’ to all the illegals who will get a total free ride on your taxes. Have We passed the Point-of-No Return with this present government which was put in place on blind ‘Hope and Change’ in 2008. Yet some still don’t get the scam or have a clue ! Read on at the end about Nancy Pelosi’s solution to the deficits…..That will get you out to vote in November . Pass this knowledge on….because the leaders in Washington are counting on you to just delete the e-mail !!

Interesting that the LA times did this.. Lou Dobbs reported this on CNN and it cost him his job. The only network we would see this would be FOX.. All the others are staying away from it.

10. In L.. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.. (There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County .)

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States ' annual population growth(and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens .

This woman is frightening.

She quotes...' We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income, (didn't Marx say something like this?), in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.' (I am not rich, are you?)

When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied:

'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'.'

(Read that quote again and again and let it sink in.) 'Lower your retirement, give it to others who have not worked as you have for it'.
