Last week, congress passed health care reform. What exactly doest that mean, or what does the 2700 page bill mean
to you, me and our kids. For me to try to outline everything in the bill that, "We the people" don't want would take days and you
wouldn't read it. So I'll try to give you the Cliff notes;
1. YOUR TAXES ARE GOING UP!
2. CONGRESS HAS SPENT MORE OF YOUR MONEY WITHOUT YOU KNOWING IT!
3. THE BENEFITS YOU START PAYING FOR IN YOUR NEXT PAYCHECK, WILL NOT BENEFIT ANYONE UNTIL 2014
4. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOW IN CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH CARE! (DOES THAT SCARE THE HELL OUT OF YOU?)
5. OH BY THE WAY, IN THE LAST MINUTE BEFORE PASSING THE BILL, CONGRESS ADDED EDUCATIONAL FUNDING, MEANING
FROM NOW ON, IF YOUR CHILDREN WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE AND NEED A LOAN. THE LOAN COMES FROM THE FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT. JUST ANOTHER WAY THIS ADMINISTRATION IS TRYING TO CONTROL YOUR LIFE, WAKE UP PEOPLE!
Now on to the next challenge. The federal government is now going to try to pass IMMIGRATION REFORM. What does that mean?
WELL, IF YOU ARE AN ILLEGAL, THIS ADMINISTRATION WANTS TO OFFER YOU AMNESTY. ALONG WITH AMNESTY COMES ----HEALTH
CARE, AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP AND ALL THE BENEFITS! I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT THIS IS PISSING ME OFF. WHY, BECAUSE
WE'RE PAYING FOR IT!
LISTEN, DO ALL OF US A FAVOR. GET INVOLVED IN THE POLITICAL PROCESS. AS TIME GOES ON
YOUR FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES WILL BE EATEN AWAY BY THIS ADMINISTRATION. THEN AND ONLY THEN WILL

America wakes up Monday morning a different nation
America wakes up Monday morning a different nation. I wish I could say a better nation. If you’re a socialist, I guess you think the nation is better.
If you don’t know, health care passed the house Sunday night. I watched hours of debate on C-Span. I’ve read the house bill. What does this mean to you, me and to America?
1. Higher taxes immediately, or as soon as the president signs the bill into law.
2. The American people will not recognize any benefit for 4 years. Yes, 4 years, you will pay for something that you can’t use for 4 years!
If a child has a pre existing condition he/she will be covered immediately.
3. Medicare will be cut over ½ trillion dollars, meaning your grandmother’s Medicare advantage will go away. The ½ trillion dollars will in part fund the expanded benefit to almost 30 million people. Note, I didn’t say 30 million American’s, we don’t know how many of those uninsured are actual Americans. You may see benefit cuts from Americans go to pay for illegals in this country.
4. Government control over your health care. As the government add 30 million new people to receive health care. The government will at the same time reduce the amount of medical reimbursements they will pay doctors.
You will have more people and less doctors to see them. Creating rationing care and long lines.
I’ve been saying this debate has nothing to do with health or care, it has everything to do with CONTROL OVER YOUR LIFE! Some call it socialism.
85% of those in this country that have insurance were not unhappy with their insurance. What we did was change the system for 15% of the people in this country.
We could have given the 30 million people insurance and not created the financial burden this administration will create with this piece of legislation.
So what happens next? The bill is signed into law. The conservatives in congress do everything they can to repeal the bill. File laws suits for unconstitutionality.
What we need to do is support CONSERVATIVE candidates for the senate and the house. I don’t care if they are republican or democrat as long as they’re conservative.
I don’t know about you, I’m up for a good fight, how about you?

Pick up the phone and give him a call or write a letter
Dear Congressman Altmire,
Look around, can you feel it, can you hear it? Maybe we're not YELLING LOUD ENOUGH! The American people have lost their confidence and their patience with our elected officials.
We don’t want government to tell us what we need. In the obamacare health reform bill -
Nowhere in the bill does it address;
1. Tort reform
2. Buying insurance across state lines to create competition for my business by all private insurance companies.
3. Being able to keep your insurance as you move from job to job
Until you address these vitally important issues, stop wasting time writing bills that will increase taxes.
The proposed bill has nothing to do with controlling health care cost. It has everything to do with controlling the American people. The tax payers will pay additional taxes for 4 years before they see any benefit, are you kidding me?
If you want to do the right thing, truly! START OVER! Get the brightest minds from both parties and lock yourselves in a room and iron out a bill that make sense for everyone, IN LESS THAN 100 PAGES.
Congressman, need I remind you, you work for us, not Nancy Pelosi. When it comes to re-elect, she will not help you, we will. This I guarantee. If you vote yes for this piece of legislation, hundreds of your constituents will canvas your congressional district to make sure you’re not re-elected. No threat, this I promise.
