HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE HEART

Happy New Year from the heart.

As tradition has it, New Years is the time to reflect and make sacrifices or give something up. I turned 50 this year. 50 is the age you should give up giving up things.

This year is going to be a little different. I’m not giving up anything; in fact, I’m adding stuff on. No longer will I try to lose weight, If it happens great! If not,
tough hot pepper sandwich’s with a frosty mug of beer. Like I said, I’m 50 now and I like pizza and beer. To be honest, I’m not sure they have pizza and beer in the next life so I’m eating and drinking my fill while I’m here.

I am going to set some goals for myself; I’d like to call this goal setting exercise, “adding stuff on”. No longer will I complain or condemn. I will try to make things better. I will always try to turn a bad situation into something worth talking positively about.

I’m going to enjoy the greatest gifts of life; my family, my friends and playing poker, oh yea, almost forgot, pizza and beer.

I will get more involved in government, hell I’m paying for it and so are you. My elected officials will know who I am by name. They will start to answer the call to service their constituents or I will make an asserted effort to have them voted out of office.

I will do everything in my power to restore our wonderful country to the place where I grew up, where the 12 conservative values (honesty, reverence, hope, thrift, humility, charity, sincerity, moderation, HARD WORK, courage, personal responsibility and gratitude) mean something. And the 9 principals I will use as a pillar to live my life by;
1. America is good
2. I believe in God
3. I must always try to be a more honest person
4. The family is sacred
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty
6. I have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
7. I work hard for what I have
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority
9. The government works for me, I don’t answer to them

We’re heading for difficult times in years to come. Only God knows how it will all pan out. We need to keep God in the fore front of our lives and turn to him for guidance when things get difficult, regardless of what the ACLU says.

Government and government alone is not the answer and never were, in most cases they are the problem. This administration is leading us down a road to Socialism / Marxism and if we keep watching TV thinking everything is OK, we may end up as a communist nation. Use this year to make a change and fight for what you want your country to look like and the FREEDOM that this country was founded on.

I’ve chosen to make 2010 a great year, will you join me?

You need to pass this on to everyone in your e-mail box. I hate to keep
painting a picture of doom. I write it as I see it!

Senate votes Monday (actually after midnight) to end debate on Obama
care.

Reid then wants to hold a final Senate vote on his health care bill on
Christmas Eve for Obama's special present. (I don't believe Muslims
celebrate Christmas... the birth of Jesus Christ ).

Until Saturday morning, no one outside of the Majority Leader's
office had even seen Reid's latest version of ObamaCare… no other
Senator and certainly not the American people were allowed to know what
was actually in it. (we were just fed bits and pieces)

So when we say this latest incarnation of health care “reform” was
written behind closed doors... it's not just an expression... it's a
statement of fact. Welcome to the beginning of the 'United Socialist
States". True democracy in this country as we knew it is GONE...it's now
history....praise the new King....he will be UNSTOPPABLE now !

Senator Mitch McConnell (Republican) put it this way:

"And here’s the most outrageous part: at the end of this rush (For
Obamacare), they want us to vote on a bill that no one outside the
Majority Leader’s conference room has even seen. That’s right. The final
bill we’ll vote on isn’t even the one we’ve had on the floor. It’s the
deal Democrat leaders have been trying to work out in private."

Does this sound like a Democracy...if you think so; drink some more of
this Kool-Aid.

And now get ready for the 'Cap and Trade' bill to be shoved up our
asses....and with it comes huge price increases for just about
everything we purchase....and higher taxes. That should do well for
economic recovery over the next decade....so drink so more Kool-Aid to
ease the pain....because we must 'spread the wealth' around dear
citizens.

I am convinced the biggest terrorist has been strategically embedded to
destroy this country....and most don't even have a clue.

We are one step closer to Socialism

Well the senate bought their 60th vote. Today Harry Reid spent more of your money. He and the democratic senate wrote a big check to Democrat Ben Nelson from Nebraska. You may know Senator Nelson was adamently opposed to not sign a bill that had any tax payer money fund abortions.

I can only imagine how many zero's was on the check. All of a sudden Senator Nelson doesn't have a problem with government funded abortion.

Sometime over the next couple days the senate will vote on a bill that NOT ONE senator has read. I've been saying all along, this has nothing to do with
health care. It does however have everything to do with CONTROL!

After the bill passes it will go through more political BS until president obama signs it into law. There are those that say, president obama had to have a health care bill this year or his first year as president will have been the worse first year for any president in our country's history.

If the bill does go into law you have the democrats to thank. Thanks to them;
1. Your tax dollar will fund abortions in this country.
2. Cut over 500 Billion dollars from Medicare and Medicare Advantage program.
3. You will start paying higher taxes as early as January of 2010.
4. You and others that this bill was supposed to help will NOT see one benefit for 4 years.
Let's look at it another way. You get to pay on your new car today, but you don't get to drive
it until 2014. Hell of a deal don't you agree?
5. 30 million people will now have health insurance and you will pay for it.
6. Longer lines at your local doctors offices.
I could go on, but WHY?

We have but one option. That is to call your senator and tell them to vote no against the health care proposal. If that doesn't work vote them out.
The American people have some tough sledding ahead of us. We're losing our freedoms as we speak. Today health care, tomorrow who knows.

As much as you think it doesn't matter, we have to write, e-mail, call, fax, send up a smoke screen to our senators.

Just back from my trip to Washington DC

I boarded the bus at 5am in Monroeville with 40 other excited patriots. On our way to the rally in Washington DC. Going to talk to our senators about health care, we’re going to change the out come and change their minds. RIGHT! Laura Ingram is the Key Note speaker along with Jim Demint the Republican Senator from South Carolina and several other Senators and Michelle Bachmann the Congresswoman from Minnesota.

I e-mailed Senators Casey and Specters office ahead of time requesting appointments with the senators. Their offices did respond, the senators were too busy to talk with their constituents, so a meeting was arranged with staff members.

While I was at the capitol I wanted to stop and talk to as many senators as possible. I didn’t travel 5 hours on a bus to take pictures. Much to our surprise, President obama called all democratic members of the senate to the white house. I heard the president just got a bushel basket full of new cash from taxpayers he wanted to use to bribe the senators to vote in favor of health care.

That brings me to one of the biggest disappointments of the trip, Joe I’M NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR THIS BILL Liberman. Joe is giving everyone in the country his version of a Hanukkah gift by lying and voting for the health care bill. It was reported that the democrats led by obama was trying to get Senator Liberman’s wife fired from her job so the senator decided, because it was right for the country to vote in favor of the health care bill.

Me and my group of angry conservatives stopped by the senators office and asked to meet with “Diamond Joe”, only to be told he wasn’t available, (go figure!). I said, “that’s fine, I’ll just sit here and wait for him”. I was then told, if I didn’t leave they would have me arrested. Imagine that, a public building paid for by tax payers money, and I being told to leave or be arrested. That set the tone for the day……

Our meeting with senator Specter was missing one thing, (Senator Specter). Senator Specter along with President obama was in the White House lighting menorah candles. The senator was to busy and couldn’t meet with his constitutes. We met with Scott Hoeflich, a young man that has been the Senators chief of state for 3 years, through the republican and democratic days of senator Specter. Talk about a confused man, red or blue…..blue or red…..God just give me purple…..
Scott was very nice, listened to everything we said, even took notes along with other staffers. He got very upset when I accused him of stacking the deck full of Acorn and SEIU members at the senator’s town hall meeting in Kittanning PA.

The meeting with Senator Casey’s staffers didn’t go so well. A bunch of pro lifers were there. And the representative from Senators Casey’s office, Dick Speigelman.
Dick reminded me of Pee Wee Hermann on Prozac. He spent most of his time yelling and shaking. At one point I thought he was going to self combust and catch fire. The other staffer, don’t know her name so lets call her Megan. Megan spent most of her time texting rather than listening to the comments of the 60 people that were crammed into a small room. I left the meeting like most, feeling it was a waste of time.

I visited, senators; Bayh, Carper, Conrad, Landrieu, Lincoln, Ben Nelson, and Olympia Snowe. All the listed Senators were rumored to be on the fence. For one reason or another they were not committing to vote in favor of the health care bill.
I thought I would take my group of well behaved conservatives to their office to voice our opinions and ask them to strongly consider voting no against a bill that will raise taxes and cut care. I know you will not believe this, NONE of the senators were in their offices.

My trip to Washington DC was fruitful. I saw first hand 50,000 people that took time from their busy lives to travel great distances and protest and tell our elected officials to wise up! I’m very optimistic that this is the beginning to a long fight. I’ve never walked away from a fight I believed in. As for our elected officials, they think they’re rock stars, living the dream while spending our money on things you and I wouldn’t buy.

Solution; vote the bastards out of office!

On a side note, I wrote before I left asking you to send me the questions you wanted me to ask the senators. As you read, the senators were on holiday. I did however ask your questions.

Erin, I did tell them Merry Christmas. They don’t care that the health care bill will destroy our economy. Tort reform, are you kidding, all the democrats in congress are lawyers. They are looking at language that will allow companies to buy health insurance from other states. Cap and Trade, isn’t going to pass. As far as the 2% raise, the reason they got a 2% raise when one in ten American’s are out of works is because they didn’t think they could get a 4% raise.

Eli, when I asked why are they raising the debt ceiling, their reply was, why not?
Infrastructure with bailout money, don’t think so! That money was earmarked for other things. They had to bribe Senator Mary Landrieu from Louisiana with $300 million for her vote. Where do you think that money came from?

March on Washinton DC, this December 15th

It's time! it's time we stand up for what we believe in. It's time we the American People fight for our freedom. We've become lazy, things have gone our way for a long time. We live in nice homes, drive nice cars and live in the greatest nation on earth.

There are those that want to change all that! One person in particular is our president and his administration. They're trying to fundamentally change our country. To this administration, fundamentally changing the country means; changing the United States of America to a socialist, Marxist country lead by muslin's.

They're trying to take over every area of our life. Now their trying to take over health care. 1/6 of our economy. Are you kidding me? Government has screwed up everything they tried to fix.

Their spending faster than the presses can print money. Why? to cause the country to collapse under it's own weight. Once this happens weak Americans will run to government for help. We don't need government help, we need the government to get out of the way! We need to vote the bastards out of office.

Our dollar is worth a fraction of what is was. Foreign country's are questioning our credit worthiness. China doesn't want to buy our debit.

I writing this to get you off your couch and take action. Call youR elected officials and tell them to vote NO against health care reform with a public option. Vote NO against the cap and tax legislation.

The democratic congress is going to ram their health care bill down your throat before Christmas, so they think?

This Tuesday there is a march on Washington DC. If you can't make it, tell a friend or relative.

We need to take back our country. We don't want to go down in the history books as the generation that let our free market society fail.
