Today the democratic majority house of representatives is planning a vote on the Bush tax cuts. These spineless dweebs are going to vote to extend the Bush tax cuts to those making less than $250,000 annually.
What does this mean? Small business, the engine of economic growth will be hit with the largest tax increase in US history. We’re in the worst recession in decades and this congress is going to try to pass into law a bill that will “KILL” more jobs. What a F’ing joke! Let me remind you, today unemployment is 9.8%. Real unemployment is more like 16%.
These members of congress are the same guys that want to extend unemployment benefits for another 3 months, costing the tax payer another $12 BILLION. I agree, some of these family’s are in need. Unemployment is the only way they have of paying their bills. There are those that will not take a job because of the extension of unemployment benefits. Did you know unemployment is 99 WEEKS? Almost 2 YEARS!!!!
Here’s an idea, LOWER TAXES ON BUSINESS AND LET THEM PLAN GROWTH THAT WILL FORCE COMPANIES TO HIRE EMPLOYEE’S!
These same democratic members of congress are planning a vote on the “Dream Act”. You will love this! The Dream Act pays for college tuition for children up to 30 years of age for all illegal immigrants in this country. Ya, you read that correct. If you are a child of an illegal alien in this country. The democratic congress wants to give you FREE college tuition.
I can’t afford to pay for my three kids to go to college, but yet this congress is voting to give college tuition to illegals for FREE! Again, what an F’ing joke.
People, get involved! Watch what your elected officials are doing. At the end of the day, “we the people” are getting screwed big time. Call your congressman and senator and tell them to STOP THE INSANITY and QUIT SPENDING YOUR MONEY!

Yesterday leaders from both parties met to discuss what would happen if the Bush tax cuts are not extended. The long and short of it; it would be devastating to an already struggling economy.
Law makers need to do the work of the people and set politics aside. Quit thinking about re-election or what your party wants you to do. Think about the American people. After all, it was us that voted you into office to represent us, right?
If you earn $50,000 you can expect to pay an additional $2,900 in 2011.
If you earn $100,000 you can expect to pay an additional $4,500 in 2011.
If you earn $500,000 you can expect to pay an additional $10,000 in 2011.
If you earn $1,000,000 (wouldn’t that be nice) you can expect to pay an additional $50,000 in 2011.

PHOENIX – A shake-up in immigration policy may lead to deportation proceedings being dropped for thousands of aliens who entered the United States illegally but are applying to stay in the country, officials said on Friday.
They said the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) seeks to end deportation proceedings against detained illegal immigrants who have applications pending to become legal U.S. residents, if agents determine they have no criminal history and do not present a security threat.
The policy shift emerged from an internal memorandum ICE Assistant Secretary John Morton sent last week to the agency's principal legal adviser and a director of enforcement and removal operations.
The memo was published by the New York Times on Friday and confirmed to Reuters by officials.
Morton said the policy aimed to reduce the backlog in immigration courts, where authorities identified some 17,000 cases last year that could be eliminated if ICE dropped removal proceedings against illegal immigrants who had applied for legal status and were very likely to get it.
The issue of what to do with nearly 11 million illegal immigrants living and working in the shadows in the United States has become an increasingly hot topic in the run up to the midterm elections in November, where Democratic control of Congress is on the line.
President Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats back a comprehensive reform of immigration policy to tighten border security, while allowing illegal immigrants in good standing the chance to learn English, pay a fine and get on a path to citizenship.
Republicans say that policy is effectively "amnesty" and likely to encourage more illegal entrants.
The Obama administration has made a priority of arresting and deporting illegal immigrants convicted of crimes, more than 167,00 of whom have been removed so far this year.
ICE spokesman Richard Rocha said the policy shift outlined in the memorandum sought to enable the agency to prioritize "the arrest and removal of criminal aliens and those who pose a danger to national security."
"ICE is not engaged in a 'backdoor' amnesty and has placed more people in immigration proceedings this year than ever before," he added.
Americans are most concerned about a stuttering economy and high unemployment in the run up to the November 2 midterm elections, when voters will elect 435 members of the House of Representatives and fill 37 of the 100 seats in the Senate.
But illegal immigration has also been a contentious issue.
The Obama administration last month successfully sued to block key parts of a tough state law in Arizona requiring state and local police during the course of an arrest to investigate the immigration status of people they suspected were in the state illegally.
The measure, which sought to curb illegal immigration and smuggling-related crime in the state bordering Mexico, was backed by a solid majority of voters both in Arizona and across the United States.
But it came under heavy fire from civil rights and Latino groups concerned that in practice it would lead to profiling, and in court the administration said it intruded on what should be a matter of federal policy.

Pelosi has lost her mind!
The LA Times article below does not surprise me….but here’s another fact on CA: The pensions for retired and early-retiree State workers is draining the system. CA recently offered early retirement packages to state workers (55 yrs) in an attempt to cut their massive deficit; the only problem is: in CA to cover their pension payment liabilities, it will now require 80% of state income taxes to go toward funding these pensions. Now really, it doesn’t take a PhD in Economics to realize this can’t continue. There are not enough working tax payers to support these entitlements and still run the State.
Hey, but it’s CA, Right….however, it’s coming to a lot more of our States because of the incompetent, spend, spend, spend politicians this country elects.
Just wait until amnesty is granted by ‘executive order’ to all the illegals who will get a total free ride on your taxes. Have We passed the Point-of-No Return with this present government which was put in place on blind ‘Hope and Change’ in 2008. Yet some still don’t get the scam or have a clue ! Read on at the end about Nancy Pelosi’s solution to the deficits…..That will get you out to vote in November . Pass this knowledge on….because the leaders in Washington are counting on you to just delete the e-mail !!

Happy Birthday America!
Happy 4th of July,
To all that love this country, “Happy Birthday to the United States of America” the land of the FREE. Governed by the Constitution of the United States.
Powerful isn’t it? We the people to form a more perfect union! My God, (am I aloud to say that), what a place on earth, the United States of America. We should all be proud to say we are Americans. The entire world wishes they could say they are Americans.
On this day of our nation’s birth I think of things that make this place so special. We can go where we want, do what we want and say what we want,
without reprimand or imprisonment. We are FREE to live our lives without fear.
We’re protected by the Constitution written so wonderfully by our founding fathers.
When I go to a sporting event or anywhere the Nation Anthem is sung, by the time we get to the end of the song, I have a tear in my eye. I’ve come to realize what the land of the FREE means. I’ve come to understand what it would mean if those liberties and freedoms were taken away.
From my heart, I understand the sacrifices our men and women in uniform do everyday to protect our wonderful nation. I tear up when I think about the families that lost loved ones in war, and the ongoing sacrifices they make everyday wishing their sons or daughters are still with them.
Today is a special day. This, the United States of America is a special place. Love it, protect it and last but not least don’t ever let anyone try to take it down. Both domestic or from abroad.

Thank God for the President
Thank God for the President An excellent piece of writing I can't take credit for. The author is nameless but the message is classic.
This lady does have a point that perhaps most have not considered.

WHY?
1. He destroyed the Clinton Political Machine - Driving a stake thru the heart of Hillary's Presidential aspirations - something no Republican was ever able to do. Remember when a Hillary Presidency scared the daylights out of you!
2. He killed off the Kennedy Dynasty - No more Kennedy's trolling Washington looking for booze and women wanting rides home. American women and freedom are safer tonight!
3. He is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes!
Dennis Moore had never lost a race - quit
Evan Bayh had never lost a race - quit
Byron Dorgan - had never lost a race - quit
Harry Reid - Soon to be GONE!!!!
These are just a handful of the Democrats that whose political careers Obama has destroyed! By the end of 2010, dozens more will be!
In December of 2008, the Democrats were on the rise. In the last two election cycles, they had picked up 14 senate seats and 52 house seats. The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party. In just one year, Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably give the House, if not the Senate, back to the Republicans.
4. He has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they are. Every Generation seems to need to relearn the lesson on why they should never actually put liberals in charge. He is bringing home the lesson very well!

Liberals won't bring themselves to protect America - check

5. He has brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone since Reagan. In ONE year, he rejuvenated the Conservative movement and brought out to the streets millions of Freedom Loving Americans. Name me one other
time in your life that you saw your friends and neighbors this interested in taking back America !
6. His amazing leadership has sparked the greatest period of sales of firearms and ammunition this country has seen. Law-abiding citizens have rallied and have provided a "stimulus" to the sporting goods field while other industries have failed, faded or moved off-shore!
7. In all honesty, one year ago I was more afraid than I had ever been in my 82 years. Not of the economy, but of the direction our country was going.
I thought Americans had forgotten what this country was all about. My neighbors, friends, strangers proved to me that my lack of confidence of the Greatness and Wisdom of the American people was flat out wrong.
8. When the American People wake up no smooth talking teleprompter reader can fool them!

Raising on Arizona
Last week the governor of Arizona signed an immigration law. This isn't something that should surprise anyone. The law she signed was the same federal immigration law that our federal government refused to enforce.
Since Governor Jan Brewer signed the state law, she's been under direct fire from the left. Some republicans have criticized her as well. Again, to no surprise the republicans that opposed her are involved in re-election campaigns in Latino districts.
Let's look at why she decided to sign the bill. Everyday, over 1.000 ILLEGAL aliens sneak across the border into Arizona, 70% have criminal records. Phoenix, Arizona
has the second highest rate of kidnapping in the WORLD! behind Mexico city.
Today, the left have organized 70 protests across the country. Question; how can the left get the permits and organize 70 proposed protests across the country in less than a week?
If you do your research you will find, the unions are behind the organization of the protest.
Since I started writing about politics, I started to ask the question why a lot.
Why are the unions so concerned with this piece of legislation?
Why isn't the federal government doing their jobs by protecting our borders?
Why is president obama condemning the act of Governor Brewer?
Why are the republican members of congress criticizing her?
I Support the Governor’s decision to sign the bill. If the federal government would do their JOB, she wouldn't have been forced to take this action.
If you're in this country illegally, you're breaking the law. If an American breaks the law they get thrown in jail. When illegal aliens break US law, our federal government gives them amnesty, citizenship and oh yea HEALTH CARE! What a crock of shit!
This country is facing a very dangerous period in our history. Never in my lifetime do I remember such an attack on our FREEDOM. Everything is wrong; democrats and the left are doing and saying things that threaten our liberty and way of life.
Wake up! Everyday the American people fall deeper in debt and loose more of their FREEDOM. If you don’t start voicing your opinion loudly and getting involved you will wake up one morning and realize you’re living in Europe, one step from Communism.

Can we talk
No its not Joan Rivers! But we need to talk. What is going on this week should be no supprise. We're one month into
nobama health care and already there is an estimated 15% of this nation's hospitals that will close. When you add the estimated
30 million new enrollees to the healthcare system, you can see what is happening.
The nobama adminstration is attempting to take over or regulate the financial system without regulating Freddie Mac or
Fannie Mae. Noting both Freddie and Fannie were among the two biggest reasons for the mortgage and housing catastrophe.
Wait it gets better; the nobama adminstration is kicking cap and tax legislation into high gear. Why? The liberal progressives
know their days as the majority are numbered. They have to RAM all the socialist legislation through they can while they
have the majority in both the senate and the house.
Cap and trade will cost over 1.5 million jobs. Do absolutely nothing to resolve global and climate change. As long as China and
India thumb their noses at the legislations.
OK, now for the 64,000 question; WHY is nobama doing all this? CONTROL! the more he does to to drive this country's economy
into the ground the more American's will depend on the government. Welcome to SOCIALISM!
What next?

Last week congress passed health care
Last week, congress passed health care reform. What exactly doest that mean, or what does the 2700 page bill mean
to you, me and our kids. For me to try to outline everything in the bill that, "We the people" don't want would take days and you
wouldn't read it. So I'll try to give you the Cliff notes;
1. YOUR TAXES ARE GOING UP!
2. CONGRESS HAS SPENT MORE OF YOUR MONEY WITHOUT YOU KNOWING IT!
3. THE BENEFITS YOU START PAYING FOR IN YOUR NEXT PAYCHECK, WILL NOT BENEFIT ANYONE UNTIL 2014
4. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOW IN CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH CARE! (DOES THAT SCARE THE HELL OUT OF YOU?)
5. OH BY THE WAY, IN THE LAST MINUTE BEFORE PASSING THE BILL, CONGRESS ADDED EDUCATIONAL FUNDING, MEANING
FROM NOW ON, IF YOUR CHILDREN WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE AND NEED A LOAN. THE LOAN COMES FROM THE FEDERAL

America wakes up Monday morning a different nation
America wakes up Monday morning a different nation. I wish I could say a better nation. If you’re a socialist, I guess you think the nation is better.
If you don’t know, health care passed the house Sunday night. I watched hours of debate on C-Span. I’ve read the house bill. What does this mean to you, me and to America?
1. Higher taxes immediately, or as soon as the president signs the bill into law.
2. The American people will not recognize any benefit for 4 years. Yes, 4 years, you will pay for something that you can’t use for 4 years!
If a child has a pre existing condition he/she will be covered immediately.
3. Medicare will be cut over ½ trillion dollars, meaning your grandmother’s Medicare advantage will go away. The ½ trillion dollars will in part fund the expanded benefit to almost 30 million people. Note, I didn’t say 30 million American’s, we don’t know how many of those uninsured are actual Americans. You may see benefit cuts from Americans go to pay for illegals in this country.
4. Government control over your health care. As the government add 30 million new people to receive health care. The government will at the same time reduce the amount of medical reimbursements they will pay doctors.
You will have more people and less doctors to see them. Creating rationing care and long lines.
I’ve been saying this debate has nothing to do with health or care, it has everything to do with CONTROL OVER YOUR LIFE! Some call it socialism.
85% of those in this country that have insurance were not unhappy with their insurance. What we did was change the system for 15% of the people in this country.
We could have given the 30 million people insurance and not created the financial burden this administration will create with this piece of legislation.
So what happens next? The bill is signed into law. The conservatives in congress do everything they can to repeal the bill. File laws suits for unconstitutionality.
What we need to do is support CONSERVATIVE candidates for the senate and the house. I don’t care if they are republican or democrat as long as they’re conservative.
I don’t know about you, I’m up for a good fight, how about you?

Pick up the phone and give him a call or write a letter
Dear Congressman Altmire,
Look around, can you feel it, can you hear it? Maybe we're not YELLING LOUD ENOUGH! The American people have lost their confidence and their patience with our elected officials.
We don’t want government to tell us what we need. In the obamacare health reform bill -
Nowhere in the bill does it address;
1. Tort reform
2. Buying insurance across state lines to create competition for my business by all private insurance companies.
3. Being able to keep your insurance as you move from job to job
Until you address these vitally important issues, stop wasting time writing bills that will increase taxes.
The proposed bill has nothing to do with controlling health care cost. It has everything to do with controlling the American people. The tax payers will pay additional taxes for 4 years before they see any benefit, are you kidding me?
If you want to do the right thing, truly! START OVER! Get the brightest minds from both parties and lock yourselves in a room and iron out a bill that make sense for everyone, IN LESS THAN 100 PAGES.
Congressman, need I remind you, you work for us, not Nancy Pelosi. When it comes to re-elect, she will not help you, we will. This I guarantee. If you vote yes for this piece of legislation, hundreds of your constituents will canvas your congressional district to make sure you’re not re-elected. No threat, this I promise.

The tiger is out of hiding----
Dear readers, this is not one of my typical Politicially charged blogs. It is however something I needed to write about.
I for one love the game of golf. Everything about it, the social aspect, competition, good shots, bad shot, the betting on every shot, drinking a beer and smoking a cigar with my buddies…I love it all!!!
What happened this past Friday borders on insane. Not one or two but 10 network and cable TV stations aired Tiger’s apology tour. I have one question, WHO CARES?
Don’t we as a nation have bigger fish to fry, (little Lenten humor).
1. We have American soldiers fighting for our freedom over seas in two different wars.
2. We have double digit unemployment,
3. American’s are losing their homes because they can’t find work.
4. We have an administration that is trying to turn our wonderful country into the second coming of Russia under Stalin’s communistic policies.
5. We have American’s still living in FEMA trailers in New Orleans.
6. We still have a little crisis in Haiti.
I could go on but, I think you get the idea.
To think the world would stop what it was doing to watch as, perhaps one of the greatest golfer of all times had a press conference with no questions. Only invited guests were in attendance, as he read (poorly) from note cards. Are you kidding me? WHO CARES?
This man is a scum bucket end of story! He has bedded down more women than he has major championship trophies. And the golf community and golf fans around the world are comparing him with Jack Nicklaus.
What he did was wrong. Only he and his family should care. Anyone that bought anything with his name or logo on it to wear or gave it to your kids should return it for a full refund.
Kudos to the companies that kicked him to the curb for his incredibly poor choices.

Pennsylvania's 12th Congressional District (PA-12) from DINO

Below is a link regarding the 12th congressional race in PA. My friend and candidate for this congressional post is
Tim Burns. You have read my comments about Tim for Congress over the past couple months. Hopefully you went

What makes this race so interesting is; the 12th congressional district was held by John Murtha for over 36 years.
As you may know Congressman Murtha pass away a couple weeks ago. The democrat's never thought Mr Murtha
would loose his congressional seat. Then again the democratic never thought Mr. Murtha would pass away.
By no means do I mean any disrespect towards Congressman Murtha who served his country in Vietnam and as a US
Congressman. I pray for him and his family.
We have to think about the future. The future for you, me and most important our children. What will be left for them
when they graduate from college? A mountain of debt, no jobs, a socialized society? Come on, we as parents can do
better than that.
That is why I got involved in politicians and that is why I'm supporting Tim Burns. If you're like me, you watch Fox news,
get pissed off because no one is listening to the American people. This administration is spending money faster than
the presses can print it.
What can I do? I write my senators and congressmen. Why, do you think they're listening. I'd like to believe they are.
But I'm sure they're not.
What can I do? Run for congress, give up my day job and start calling everyone I know for support. Believe me the thought
has crossed my mind.
What can I do? I've decided to support a candidate for congress. Maybe it was luck or fate. I choose Tim Burns. I've had
several face to face meetings with Tim. I have found him to be someone I trust, someone I can support, someone that
will represent me and my wishes in Washington.
So, I did something, I'm going to ask you to do. I got out my pen and check book and wrote Tim a check in support of his
congressional campaign. Here's the kicker, I don't live in Tim's congressional district, which means I can't vote for him.
I know one thing, when Tim's elected and in office. I'll have a friend in DC. Someone that WILL NOT rubber stamp bills
because of a party or pressure from the likes of Nancy Pelosi.
JOIN ME AND SUPPORT A CANDIDATE THAT CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. THE DIFFERENCE WE NEED. HELP ME SUPPORT

John Murtha, Congressman, dies at age 77
I didn’t always agree with Mr Murtha’s politics. I can’t argue with his commitment to his country as a Vietman Vet and serving in Congress for 36 years. I pray for John Murtha and my deepest sympathy goes out the Murtha family.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MR. PRESIDENT
After exactly one year in office, here’s what we got from the ‘great one’, the leader of change. Sounds to me like this guy is green behind the ears….Oh, I forgot he had experience as a US. Senator for a little over 100-days. If old George had this track record after his 1st year they would have run him out of town on a rail.
I remind you, not one of the listed had anything to do with the Bush administration. All these accomplishment are directly related to nobama ineptness.
I ASK YOU, IF THIS ADMINISTRATION HAS ACCOMPLISHED "ONE" THING IN THE PAST YEAR THAT IS NOTE WORTHY OR BENEFITS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, PLEASE POST IT IN THE COMMENTS. GOOD LUCK!
· Just weeks after moving into the White House, Obama signed an executive order to shut down the detainee center at Guantanamo Bay and ordered it closed within a year. Nearly a year after he signed the order, the facility remains open.
· The administration decided to try Khalid Sheik Mohammed and other 9/11 terrorists in a civilian court in New York rather than in a military court, prompting critics to predict a “public show trial.”
· Obama traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark, in an effort to convince Olympics officials to stage the 2016 games in Chicago. They chose Rio de Janeiro instead.
· Obama also traveled to Copenhagen for the much-ballyhooed climate change conference, but the bid to forge a broad alliance against global warming fell short, and the Obama-favored cap-and-trade legislation appears to be dead in Congress.
· The president dithered for months before finally agreeing to send additional troops to Afghanistan, then drew criticism for setting a date for U.S. withdrawal. A recent Quinnipiac University poll found that less than half of respondents approve of Obama’s handling of the war overall.
· Obama said he would end the war in Iraq. During the year since he took office, 473 more soldiers have died there and elsewhere, and troops remain in Iraq.
· Obama’s efforts to seek a diplomatic solution to Iran’s nuclear program have produced no results, and the Islamic Republic appears more determined than ever to acquire nuclear weapons.
· Diplomacy also has failed to rein in North Korea’s nuclear weapons and missile programs.

· Obama also pledged to usher in a new era of bipartisanship, then went more than six months without meeting with Republican leaders on healthcare.
· Obama stirred outrage when he appeared to bow to Saudi King Abdullah at a G-20 meeting in London, a move the Washington Times called an “extraordinary protocol violation.” Despite the criticism, the president also bowed to Japanese Emperor Akihito during a November visit trip to Tokyo.
· Candidate Obama vowed that no lobbyists would work in his White House. President Obama waived that rule in June for Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn, who was a registered lobbyist for a defense contractor. Other lobbyists serving in the Obama administration include Ron Kirk, U.S. Trade Representative, and Cecilia Munoz, intergovernmental affairs director at the White House.
· Obama angered ally Israel by calling for an end to new Jewish settlements in the West Bank, then backed down when Israel’s prime minister refused to halt new construction.

· At his Senate confirmation hearings, it was revealed that Treasury Secretary nominee Timothy Geithner had not paid $35,000 in self-employment taxes for several years. He also deducted the cost of his children's sleep-away camp as a dependent care expense, when only expenses for day care are eligible for the deduction.
· Annette Nazareth, who was nominated for Deputy Treasury Secretary to help Geithner, withdrew for undisclosed "personal reasons" following a month-long probe into her taxes and other matters.
· President-elect Obama designated New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson for appointment to the Commerce Secretary position. A month later, Richardson announced his decision to withdraw his nomination as a result of an investigation into improper business dealings in New Mexico.
· Obama appointed Van Jones to be the administration’s “green jobs” czar in March. But he became embroiled in controversy over his past political activities, including his 1990s association with a Marxist group and a public comment disparaging Congressional Republicans, and resigned in September.
